The Seville Couture shirt is cut from soft cotton flannel in a check of red, navy and cobalt blue, with fine white lines running through it. The stand collar is narrow and clean, six cream buttons close the front, and a blue cotton binding runs along the neckline and the curved hem, which gives the shirt a sporty finish.
The sleeves are its strongest detail. They sit close through the upper arm, then open just above the elbow at a gathered seam into a wide, rounded volume, before an elastic cuff draws them back in at the wrist. The body falls straight and easy, long enough to wear loose or half tucked into trousers, culottes or a skirt.
The flannel is warm without being heavy, so the shirt works on its own in autumn and under a knit or coat in winter.
