A cropped, straight-cut vest made entirely from Pierre Frey fabrics, with patch pockets on both sides.
One side pairs two different jacquard weaves: a marine blue and white diamond pattern on the left front, an ochre herringbone on the right. The patch pockets are in a nubbly bouclé, ecru on one side and pale blue on the other, each edged in cobalt piping.
Turned inside out, it becomes a quieter piece in dark navy wool, with velvet pockets in burgundy and rust and piping in coral and sage green. Brown piping runs along the neckline, armholes, front edges and hem on both sides, so the vest looks finished whichever way it is worn.
The front stays open, without buttons, and the vest ends at the waist. Wear it over a silk blouse or a fine knit, with high-waisted wide trousers.
