A sleeveless dress in two fabrics. The bodice is cut from double face matt satin silk in a clear sky blue, with a round neckline and bust darts. Neckline and armholes are left with a fine frayed edge, which gives the smooth silk a softer, handmade finish.
From the waist the dress continues in a soft grey flannel with a fine light pinstripe. The waist is gathered and tied with a long cotton ribbon in the same blue as the bodice. Tied loosely, the ribbon falls over the skirt; tied close, it defines the waist. It also lets you shift the volume of the skirt to the front or to the back. The skirt is cut straight and reaches mid calf, with a slit on each side for ease of movement and two side pockets.
At the back the dress closes with a single vintage pearl button.
